Fiat Professional bags prestigious eco award

Fiat Professional was named LCV Manufacturer of the Year in the 14th annual GreenFleet Awards held in London last week.

GreenFleet recognises advances made in green transport technology, awarding pioneering adoption of low and zero emission transport solutions. Fiat Professional’s commitment to protecting the environment was appraised, and was found to confirm the company’s dedication to helping fleet operators reduce their environmental impact.

Fiat’s latest range of commercial vehicles is designed and built with innovative technological solutions such as the Blue&Me infotainment system, bi-link suspension, Start&Stop system (which automatically cuts and restarts the engine to reduce idling time and thereby reduce fuel consumption and emissions), and EcoDrive software (co-developed by Microsoft and Fiat to help drivers develop eco-efficient driving style). These technologies support the driver in getting the best possible fuel efficiency in every condition.
