Automechanika Johannesburg 2017 is well underway, at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec, as are its co-located events Futuroad Expo and Scalex Johannesburg.

The shows run until September 30, and there is much to see and do!

Yesterday saw some exiting product launches from Eicher, Tata, Powerstar and Eqstra – while there is more to come today.

Visitors can also see the latest products from other vehicle manufacturers, including MAN, FAW, Scania and Hino, while a ride-and-drive track allows the opportunity to really get hands-on with the vehicles.

All the latest and greatest at FuturoadNumerous suppliers to the industry have also packed out the halls – including fuel, accessory, component and aftermarket suppliers.

You can check out the various FOCUS social media accounts (using the #Futuroad hashtag) for regular updates from the show. A full report will be published in our October issue!

“The fact that Futuroad is now a four-day, business-to-business trade show with a large, potential sub-Saharan trade visitor reach, means it is more appropriate for local truck and bus manufacturers and distributors than the previous 11-day consumer-oriented event,” says Joshua Low, group exhibitions director of Messe Frankfurt South Africa.
