Amarok goes Ultimate

Wish to spend R600 200 on your next bakkie? Then have a look at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ (VWCV) latest creation; the Amarok Ultimate.

Based on the Amarok 2.0 BiTDI 132kW 4Motion Highline, with eight-speed automatic transmission, the special edition Amarok Ultimate features a host of exclusive upgrades.

It is, according to VWCV, the first bakkie in the local market with bi-xenon headlights and LED daytime running lights as standard.

Other tell-tale signs that you’re looking at the ultimate Amarok are the twin chrome bars on the radiator grille, silver wing mirrors, darkened rear lights with LED number plate illumination, polished 19-inch “Cantera” alloy wheels, a silver-coloured design underbody guard as well as a styling bar and sill sidebars in chrome.

Amarok goes UltimateThe Amarok Ultimate also comes as standard with Park Distance Control with Rear Assist reversing camera, electric folding and heated wing mirrors, heated front seats in either Vienna or Alcantara leather, RCD 510 Radio/CD system with mobile phone preparation, rain sensor with intermittent wipers, auto-dimming rear-view mirror and special velour floor mats.

The optional features offered with the Amarok Ultimate are the RNS 510 Radio/Navigation system with six-speakers and electrical interface for external use.
