An engine oil for economy

An engine oil for economy

Van owners now have another engine-oil option for their fleets, as Fuchs Lubricants South Africa has announced the extension of the profile of the oil Titan GT1 SAE 5W-40 premium engine oil.

It utilises Fuchs’s new XTL-Technology, which offers high performance from very low to very high temperatures, as well as improved fuel consumption, lower oil consumption and better wear protection, especially for the valvetrain.

According to Fuchs, the lubrication properties of XTL-Technology offer benefits in highly stressed engines, especially those with stop-start systems.

The product is said to also benefit exhaust gas after-treatment systems, keeping their conversion rate high and providing extended life.

Titan GT1 SAE 5W-40 is suitable for vehicles running on petrol, low-sulphur diesel or gas (LPG, CNG) fuel. It is miscible and compatible with conventional-branded engine oils. However, mixing with other engine oils should always be avoided.
