At the helm in the heart of the Highveld

GRW – a multi-tiered company that designs and manufactures road tankers and trailers for the bulk transport market, and also provides financial, maintenance and repair services to fleet operators across southern Africa and the United Kingdom – has appointed Johan Richards as the company’s new group commercial executive.

Says Gerhard van der Merwe, CEO of GRW: “With more than 31 years of experience in the commercial vehicle market, the latest being as the managing director of UD Trucks Southern Africa, we believe Richards will add a lot of value, knowledge and expertise to our operations in Gauteng.”

As a qualified engineer with extensive experience in the local transport industry, Richards will oversee all of the company’s sales and marketing activities in Gauteng.

Currently, the company’s production facility is based in Worcester, in the Western Cape, but it is in the process of developing and expanding its operations in the heart of the Highveld.
