Cargo Carriers welcomes Solly Letsoalo

The board of directors of specialist transporter Cargo Carriers has announced the appointment of Lekau (Solly) Letsoalo as the company’s new CEO. Letsoalo has also been made an executive director of Cargo Carriers. The appointments were effective as of January 8.

Letsoalo is a senior business executive with extensive and varied executive and board-level experience. His experience includes that of managing director of Aveng Manufacturing, chief operating officer of Transnet Port Terminals, and director of inbound logistics at Nampak.

He is described as a dynamic and successful leader with strong strategic leadership experience and a track record of delivering shareholder value, both in South Africa and internationally.

Outgoing CEO, Murray Bolton, remains available to the company to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
