Charmontโ€™s own shines

Itโ€™s not very often we boast about our own achievements at Charmont Media Global, publishers of FOCUS. However, the companyโ€™s newest recruit, Thato Tinte, shone brightly at the 2015 awards ceremony for her two-year Diploma in Journalism course at Rosebank College.

Tinte was named the top achiever for all modules for 2015 and the overall achiever across the course and the faculty! She walked away with three awards:
โ€ข Top performing student for each module โ€“ including news writing, sub-editing, media law and ethics, and communication science
โ€ข Top performing journalism student
โ€ข Top achieving humanities faculty student

โ€œCharmont Media Global is exceptionally proud to have a bright young star like Thato on our team,โ€ says Charleen Clarke, editor at Charmont Media Global.

โ€œThatoโ€™s ambition was always to become a writer. That she managed to complete her journalism course with such distinction, while raising a young family and working full time at Charmont for the last three months is testament to her excellent work ethic.

โ€œWe wish her well for her final exams!โ€

Rosebank College is part of the Independent Institute of Education (IIE), a subsidiary of ADvTECH. Besides Rosebank College, IIEโ€™s other educational brands are: Vega School of Brand Leadership, Varsity College, the Design School Southern Africa (DSSA) and Forbes Lever Barker (FLB).
