FAW celebrates a valiant 2016

FAW recently held its annual conference for dealer sales and service representatives in Johannesburg.

โ€œThis was a great platform to share information on all aspects related to the FAW truck business in the southern African region. It also gave our sales and service partners a chance to share information, ask questions and make suggestions on how to improve our combined efforts to further entrench the FAW truck brand in South Africa,โ€ explains Jianyu Hao, CEO at FAW Vehicle Manufacturers SA.

โ€œTop performing FAW dealers were also recognised for their valiant efforts in 2016,โ€ says Hao.

FAW Eastern Cape, based in Port Elizabeth and headed by Andrew McNaughton, was awarded the 2016 Top Dealer Award in Sales Performance for the third year in a row.

The 2016 Top Dealer Award in Customer Satisfaction went to FAW Harrismith, led by dealer principle Juan Wiggill, who attributes the dealershipโ€™s exceptional success to a focused and passionate team effort.

โ€œEveryone in our team contributes above and beyond the norm. They are knowledgeable and are dedicated to assist customers with their needs and challenges,โ€ he says.

โ€œOne of the reasons for FAWโ€™s growing presence in the African sub-continent is our focus on successful partnerships. These include our customers first and foremost, our sales and service representatives and our suppliers.

โ€œOur fundamental vision for this region, using South Africa as a base, is to ensure that the FAW brand becomes a truck brand of choice across the length and breadth of this great continent. In so doing, we hope to significantly contribute to job creation and the general stimulation of the local and African economies,โ€ concludes Hao.
