Iveco on the road

Truck drivers around the United Kingdom are now able to find their nearest services at the tap of a finger, following the release of a free iPhone and Android application by Iveco.

The easy-to-use Iveco Hi-Stop application has a map function which shows every truck stop service station within an 80 km radius of the users’ location. Users can choose to find truck stops by region, road or alphabetically and  the key amenities available at each stop are listed.

The application has quick links to Iveco’s Twitter feed and website, so users can access the company’s latest news in the palm of their hands.

Nigel Emms, director of press and public relations at Iveco United Kingdom, says: “We’re delighted to launch our new application in conjunction with the local debut of the much anticipated new Stralis range. We hope as many drivers as possible will take advantage of the service.”

The new Stralis Hi-Way range replaces the previous Stralis Active Space and Active Space Super models. It is designed as a highly competitive proposition for long-haul and international haulage, and features one of the most modern premium cabs on the market.

The Android application is due to appear on the Google play store within the next few weeks.
