Mahindra adds Plus-points to Genio

Mahindra’s Genio single-cab, one-tonne pickup has been endowed with an extended list of standard equipment, to add further appeal, value and functionality to its overall package.

The list includes: a front bull bar, rear bumper, side steps, a front cab-mounted roll bar and a rear, tailgate-side roll bar – all supplied by LA Sport. In addition, the large corrugated cargo box has been rubberised, while a set of alloy wheels increases the visual appeal.

The Genio Plus boasts an extensive standard equipment list that includes: electric windows and mirrors, fog lamps, air-conditioning, central locking, power steering and anti-lock brakes.

It is powered by Mahindra’s mHawk 2,2-litre, common-rail turbodiesel engine, which produces of 88 kW at 4 000 r/min and 290 Nm of torque between 1 800 and 2 600 r/min.

The Mahindra Genio Plus is now on sale for R209 995.
