MAN Lion’s Coach wins big

The MAN Lion’s Coach won three of six categories at the Busworld Awards Competition in the run-up to the Busworld bus and coach exhibition, which ended on Wednesday, October 25.

The MAN Lion’s Coach beat 11 competitors to win the Grand Coach Award. There were 12 nominees in the competition – a record number. Additionally, it was honoured with the Comfort Label and Design Label awards.

Any vehicle exhibited at Busworld can compete for all six awards. The jury is made up of national and international experts from various fields, as well as bus and coach operators. 

The jury was unanimously impressed with the total package that the MAN Lion’s Coach offers, which combines efficiency, safety and design in one unique unit.

With its world première at Busworld, the MAN Lion’s Coach features include LED headlights and rear lights, a more powerful and more efficient D26 engine, as well as various safety systems and standards. Most notably, the coach complies with the latest ECE R66.02 roll-over standard.
