One-stop fleet management

Fleet management consultancy Latitude Fleet Services has developed an online fleet management portal that lists established fleet management service providers – www.fleetsolutions.co.za.

The portal has been developed to identify a number of service suppliers in each of the fleet management categories. It provides customers with the opportunity to easily identify, in a single facility, a range of services and established suppliers.

Currently, www.fleetsolutions.co.za has in excess of 25 categories of supply, from tracking, telematics and full-maintenance leasing services to fuel, maintenance, tyre, accident, insurance and claims management.

“As a fleet management consultant, one of our strengths is that we know where to find established service suppliers. We have worked with them and trust their capabilities,” says Nigel Webb, MD Latitude Fleet Services.

“In addition, as corporate governance, regulations and responsibility requirements grow, driver training, the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act, and management of dangerous cargoes increasingly come into play – and of course don’t forget AARTO and e-tolls,” Webb adds.
