Bandag had a head start to this year’s festive season … Its 2014 National Franchise Conference and Gala Awards evening, held at the gorgeous Arabella Hotel and Spa in Hermanus, praised the best of the best of Bandag’s franchisees, while shining the spotlight on some new tread designs …

These include the BDR-HG, suited for long-haul and regional drive applications, featuring shoulder and centre tie bars for increased stability, and the BDV2, with a lighter casing, which is dedicated to the bus and urban delivery markets.

This year’s conference also saw Bandag Southern Africa celebrating a decade of “having locals at the wheel”.

“Long service and loyalty are rare in today’s business environment, but Bandag has historically been privileged to work with a strong and loyal franchise network,” states the company. Long Service Awards handed out this year included:
