Stop press! FOCUS moves into the Western Cape
Charmont Media Global, the publisher of FOCUS on Transport & Logistics, has opened an office in the Western Cape!
There is no doubt about it – Gauteng is a major cog in the South African economy and home to so many industry players. It houses most of our continent’s original equipment manufacturers; tanker, trailer and refrigerated transport builders and all other commercial vehicle related organisations … So, naturally, Johannesburg is a fitting home for us here at FOCUS. But we’ve decided to expand to Cape Town as well!
Charleen Clarke, editor of FOCUS, explains that the opening of an office in the Western Cape is in reaction to the growing number of reader and advertiser requests for news from that province. “While Gauteng will always remain pivotal to the transport industry – it is, after all, the heart of the wheels game – there is no denying that the Western Cape is booming and extremely active. There are lots of major fleet operators located in this province and they are serviced by an increasing supplier base,” she explains.
FOCUS has always prided itself on producing original articles of exceptional quality. “We don’t believe in just regurgitating media releases; we fill our pages, our online newsletter and our website with original content. It is for this reason that we have the largest editorial team within this industry – by far. The office in the Western Cape is the next logical step when it comes to cementing our leadership in the transport industry,” Clarke continues.
Practically, the Western Cape office means that we can bring you a Capetonian twist on our wonderful industry. So pop in to say hi if you’re in and around the Mother City. We would love to meet you face to face … Just give us a call on 021 852 3887, pop us an e-mail at journalist3@charmont.co.za or (if you’re into keeping things old-school) send us some snail mail to P O Box 77, Stellenbosch, 7599 if you want to get in touch. We’re in the Western Cape … for you.
