Supporting firefighters and victims

In response to the devastation caused by fires in and around Knysna and Plettenburg Bay last week, Engen donated diesel to the value of R150 000, as well as water, energy snacks and drinks for firefighters from the Knysna and Plettenberg Bay Fire and Rescue services.


“This tragic event has touched the lives of so many people. We trust that our small contribution will play some part in helping to support the many firefighters and volunteers, as well as the community at large,” says Godfrey Vilakazi, retail marketing manager at Engen.

The company has also allocated the following drop-off points at its service stations in the region for ongoing donations of food, clothing and blankets.
