Cool as ICE

The “coolest” bakkie from Nissan South Africa has been launched – the NP200 ICE.

The new NP200 ICE is decked out in Nissan’s eye-catching Starling Blue or Bright Silver metallic paint finish.

All the aluminium features fitted to the NP200 ICE are uniquely created for this model. These include the custom-designed 15-inch alloy wheels, an aluminium nudge bar with a brushed finish, and a brushed-aluminium sports bar.

The load bay is rubberised as standard helping to protect against water corrosion, impact and possible abrasive damage from certain loads. Nissan has added a fitted tonneau cover and rear step plates below the ICE decals on the rear bumper.

The NP200 ICE also features Nissan-approved dark-tinted safety film. Rounding off the comprehensive exterior updates are factory-fitted daytime running lights.

Inside the cabin, the NP200 ICE features eco combination leather upholstery and rubber carpets.

Two engines are available – the R191 900 1,6-litre eight-valve petrol engine that delivers 64 kW and 128 Nm of torque, and the 1.5 dCi turbodiesel engine, which delivers 63 kW and 200 Nm, and retails for R204 900.
