Adding two more to the team

Paulo Ribeiro, financial director at Paramount Trailers, says that, despite the current economic situation, the company has seen steady growth. This has led to the expansion of its sales force to include a sales director and senior sales executive.

“As we have developed our footprint into new markets, new opportunities have presented themselves,” Ribeiro points out. “Our new sales team will be able to ensure that new industries and clients are exposed to the Paramount offering.”

Gavin Aboud, the new sales director, has extensive experience in the supply chain and tyre industry with expertise stretching from business strategy and operations management to supply chain management. He is passionate about being involved in every facet of the business and is committed to providing customers with individualised and personal service.

The new senior sales executive is Anash Parsuram, who has over 11 years’ experience in the commercial industry. He is committed to providing clients with timeous quotations and is able to provide expert guidance in trailer manufacturing and purchasing decisions.

Paramount Trailers will soon be relocating to a new manufacturing plant situated on 76 000 m² of prime real-estate on the R59 highway (south of Johannesburg). “We have no doubt that our investment of over R150 million in these new facilities will benefit the business,” says Ribeiro.
