Cape Town gets a new terminals manager

Pamela Yoyo has been appointed as terminals manager for Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) Cape Town Terminals (CTT). Her appointment follows the promotion of former CTT terminals manager, Brenda Magqwaka, to general manager containers at TPT KwaZulu-Natal Operations.

Yoyo’s role will be to provide strategic guidance on operations and overall administration of the terminals. She has worked within TPT for 11 years, having started as a human resources manager at the Richards Bay Dry Bulk Terminal.

Pamela Yoyo has been appointed as terminals manager for Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) Cape Town Terminals (CTT).Yoyo has since worked in this position at various TPT terminals including Durban Container Terminal, Cape Town Container Terminal and Multi-Purpose Terminal.

She moved into operations management in 2009 as a trainee operations manager and climbed the ranks to chief operations manager at the Cape Town Container Terminal.

Yoyo holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in human resource management from Technikon South Africa, a Bachelor of Maritime Studies degree and a Master’s degree in Transport and Logistics Management, both from Stellenbosch University.
