New head at Iveco

Bringing with him a wealth of experience in the CNH Industrial group, Carmelo Impelluso has been appointed director Africa RHD and South Africa, Iveco Brand and Iveco Joint Venture.

His appointment comes after the departure of Mario Gasparri, who has left the company to pursue other interests, and Eamonn Parker, who has taken up a new position with the company in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

“Africa is an important market for the CNH Industrial Group. Our investments – in the Rosslyn Plant in 2013 and in a new Parts Warehouse at the N1 Business Park – show our commitment to the country,” says Impelluso.

“We are developing our dealer network to ensure that our customers receive first-class service from the beginning. It is a privilege for me to be given this opportunity to take Iveco South Africa to the next phase of its development.”

Prior to his appointment, Impelluso was the director of Iveco Brand Pre-Owned vehicles since September 2014.

An economic graduate of the Università di Torino, he has worked for CNH Industrial in Spain, Italy and Brazil since 2001.

His previous roles included CFO of Terni Acciai Speciali – Krupp Group; CFO of Ifas Gruppo S.p.A; director of the Dealers Network Iveco S.p.A; and business director of Iveco Spain and Portugal.
