#NissanMagic takes to the streets

Nissan South Africa has partnered with some of South Africa’s finest influencers to spread help and hope to various charitable causes across the country.

“We are heading into winter, which is a time when the needs of many fellow South Africans are most acute. We decided to jump in and turned to South Africans for inspiration,” explains Mike Whitfield, MD of Nissan South Africa.

“The result is #NissanMagic, a programme designed to inspire random acts of kindness (#RAK15) and, given the overwhelming support, it will stretch uninterrupted until next year.”

Equipped with a Nissan passenger or commercial vehicle fit for the task, each chosen ambassador (including Jason von Berg, Bailey Schneider, Alfred Adriaan, Nathan Mayer, Chad Saaiman, Merushka Govender, Siyabonga Sangweni, Lady Lea, Fikile Moeti (DJ Fix) and Tanya Kovarsky) will have an entire month to make magic happen.

To kick-start proceedings, Brent Lindeque is to join forces with his friends, family and followers in June for the first month of #NissanMagic. Lindeque will use the Nissan NV200 to collect and deliver blankets, clothing and other winter-beating donations to the Onthandweni Family Care Centre in Soweto.

Once the random acts of kindness are completed, the baton will pass to the next person to keep his/her ear to the ground, suggest a solution, get Nissan personnel and the public involved and share the #NissanMagic.

Each ambassador has undertaken to keep up the good work after their assigned month to ensure a sustainable difference is made to the benefactors and various organisations.
