Placing labour in the spotlight

Placing labour in the spotlight

The SA Labour Guide has received a number of requests to present a basic course in labour relations, and, as the workshop set for July 22 is fully booked, another has been added on August 21.

Taking place at the Emperors Palace convention centre, the workshop aims to give an overview of labour relations and labour law from a general perspective. It is not an advanced course and will be presented in a manner that makes it easy to understand for all delegates.

After completion of the workshop, the delegates should have a better understanding of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act as well as the Labour Relation Act, including relevant regulations and codes of good practice.

The workshop is accredited by the South African Board for People Practices, with two Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.
