Terence Kruger passes

It is with sadness that BPW Axles bids farewell to friend and colleague Terence Kruger, who succumbed to his battle with cancer during the evening of Thursday, July 23.

“He was a true and devoted ambassador of BPW for 15 years and will be sorely missed,” says the company’s MD, Andre Cilliers.

“Terence epitomised the meaning of the word ‘dapper’ of middle low German origin meaning strong or stout. In Afrikaans it means brave, courageous and never giving up the fight. In English it relates to smart, neat, well-dressed, well-groomed, elegant and dashing.”

“He was kind and a true GENTLEman. I speak on behalf of the entire FOCUS team when I say that it was an absolute joy to meet and interact with him over the past 15 years. Rest in peace, Terence; we will miss you terribly,” says editor of FOCUS, Charleen Clarke. “Our sincere condolences to Terence’s family, who must be bereft at the loss of this real gem of a man.”

“This is, indeed, sad news. We convey our sincere condolences to friends and family. Terence was a gentleman, always willing to assist and to go that extra distance!” says Allan Dunn, Unitrans Supply Chain Solutions.

Kruger’s funeral will be held at Constantiakruin Gemeente, corner Liebenberg Road and Yolande Avenue, Constantia Kloof, Roodepoort, at 10:00 on Friday, July 31.
