LIFT is Light Truck of the Year

A comprehensive range of outputs, the use of fuel-efficient engine oils and longer final-drive ratios – all of which can result in fuel savings of up to nine percent – are just some of the aspects that have won the Fuso Canter LIFT the VansA2Z Light Truck of the Year award.

The Canter LIFT has received the award for two years in a row. Neil McIntee, editor of VansA2Z, says: “The Fuso Canter LIFT received our vote for a number of reasons: we were impressed by the optionally available Duonic automated six-speed, dual-clutch transmission as well as the hybrid variants.

“The United Kingdom 6,5-t model with 4×4 drive features exemplary off-road performance at a reasonable price. An engageable step-down ratio as standard helps to ensure more traction,” he continues.

According to Naeem Hassim, head of Fuso Trucks Southern Africa, an award from independent and respected experts acknowledges that the Fuso Canter LIFT is a superior vehicle in all respects. “This truck continues to reduce the total cost of ownership for its operators,” he says.
