Trailer expansions on track

The development of Paramount Trailers’ new manufacturing plant is right on schedule. The company is extremely pleased with the progress that has been made over the past few months.

“We are excited at the prospect of relocating in 2013,” says Warren Marques, MD of Paramount Trailers. “It will provide us with the opportunity to expand our operations.”

The 57 000 m2 of prime real estate, located on the R59 south of Johannesburg is a bold statement for the company, which had humble beginnings.

The new state-of-the-art plant is set to be equipped with the latest technology. It will be well worth the investment, enabling the company to improve efficiency and increase production.

“I believe it is the right time for us to be taking this step forward,” says Fernando Marques, CEO and founder of Paramount Trailers. “It will play an important role in allowing us to continue to differentiate ourselves from our competitors.”

The project is due for completion in 2013 and will see the introduction of new models to the range, such as sugar cane and feed bulk trailers.
